Welcome to the VBCPS Trauma Informed Symposium. The symposium is intended to provide school and central support teams the opportunity to engage in collaborative learning and thinking that builds our collective capacity to integrate trauma informed practices into our workplaces, schools, and classrooms. The Trauma Informed Symposium’s focus on safety, relationships, regulation, and learning will enhance the efforts of school and central support teams to respond and support both students and staff.

All symposium attendees will automatically be registered for the opening session. A variety of choice sessions are scheduled to follow the opening session. Attendees are able to select either two 45-minute choice sessions or one longer 90-minute choice session. To ensure accurate counts for planning purposes, please register for only the session(s) you plan to attend. The afternoon of professional learning will finish with designated team planning time.

We invite you to utilize this Symposium Action Toolkit as you collaborate with your team and integrate your learning. If you have questions regarding registration or using Sched, please email pgi@vbschools.com.
